Universal Electric Co. collaborated with Rivermoor Energy to implement a comprehensive EV charging solution for nine public facilities in Westfield, Massachusetts. This project involved selecting optimal sites with the City’s electric utility, preparing State grant applications, and overseeing all aspects of project planning, engineering, construction, and development.
Universal Electric was responsible for the engineering, construction, and commissioning of the EV charging infrastructure, equipment, and supporting software services. The installations were completed at various locations, including Westfield Barnes Regional Airport, several public schools, downtown business district parking lots, and PVTA bus transit parking lots.
